Award-winning photographer Andrew Kuykendall was born in South Los Angeles. A preacher's son and former teen skate punk, he began shooting polaroids of his surroundings in the late nineties. The irreverent intimacy and playfulness of his early work evolved into a career in fashion photography after attending Art Center College of Design.

Andrew's eye for evoking a nostalgic, whimsical, and sensual narrative style has been showcased in galleries around the globe, and published in books and anthologies. He continues to build on his practice with painting, text and multimedia, and continuing to shoot for such commercial clients as Hugo Boss, Nordstrom, H&M, John Varvatos, Kendall + Kylie, Urban Outfitters, Victoria's Secret, Atlantic Records, Vogue and W Magazine, among many others.
